Why Choose Bangkok Bistro?

What makes Bangkok Bistro stand out in Burlington is its commitment to delivering true Thai cuisine, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This cozy restaurant combines traditional Thai flavors with a modern twist, ensuring a delicious and unique experience every time you visit.

A Taste of Thailand in Every Bite

The menu at Bangkok Bistro showcases the full spectrum of Thai culinary delights, from mouthwatering curries to savory stir-fries and zesty salads. One of the standout dishes is their Pad Thai, a flavorful stir-fry with rice noodles, peanuts, eggs, and your choice of chicken, shrimp, or tofu. The dish is seasoned perfectly with tamarind paste, fish sauce, and a touch of sweetness, delivering that signature balance of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy.

If you're a fan of spicy food, be sure to try the Thai Green Curry, a rich, creamy dish made with coconut milk, fresh basil, and a blend of spices that packs a punch. The flavors are bold yet comforting, and each bite will leave you craving more.

For those who prefer something light, the Som Tum (green papaya salad) is a refreshing option. It’s a zesty combination of shredded green papaya, chili, lime, fish sauce, and peanuts – all tossed together for a dish that's both crunchy and satisfying.

I'd never been here until yesterday. Didn't know it was order online & pickup, so just walked up to the drive-thru window. The window quickly opened by a wonderful smiling gentleman named Ed. He was so friendly and helpful. I picked the Pad Ke Mao and a Phad-Thai. He asked me where I parked and I pointed to the lot on the other side of the building. He let me know he'd bring the food right out as soon as it was ready. In about 8 minutes he walked up to my car and handed me a super heavy bag with my food in it. I couldn't wait to taste the dishes before heading home so I sat and opened each box. To say that I was surprised by the quantity of food would be an absolute understatement. It was hot, fresh, smelled amazing, and my first bites were epic! The food was by far the very best Thai I've had around here. The flavors were balanced, the noodles were perfection, and everything was ultra fresh. I pulled up to the drive-thru to see the owner again and pay he and his wife a much deserved compliment. Their food and kindness superseded my every expectation. What wonderful people and food, definitely worth it. The next time I'm craving Thai this is my new go-to spot.

The food is amazing and the staff is phenomenal! The owner is a gem and handled our big to go order really well. Love the little outside seating area as well. :-)

Fantastic curry! Ordered the tropical red curry with chicken, Thai beef salad and Tofu Phad Thai. Each was superb. They provide take out only. You call ahead and order, and then pick your food up at a drive through window. So easy. Portions are large and three dishes with tax about $20 each. Worth every penny. You need to order rice with your curry and it is a separate charge.

The high reviews had me excited about trying this place. I found it mildly disappointing. Perhaps I'm spoiled by all the great Thai restaurants in Seattle. The flavors were OK. I was very disappointed in their tofu. It felt like it had been sitting in the refrigerator, and then tossed into the wok. It didn't taste like it had been prepared fresh. I ended up tossing out half of the meal. I appreciated the drive up window for takeout food. The staff was friendly and kind. I also found it a little expensive for the quality. Of course, with inflation, everything feels a little spendy these days.

Some of the best, most authentic Thai food I've had outside of Thailand !! Their spice levels are explained carefully to first time visited there, and their service and kindness are a welcoming invitation to come again !
